Robin Chocolates

Our Mexican Molé Caramel molded truffle was crowned Grand Champion and Best in Show at the 2011 Colorado Chocolate Festival. Mexican Molé Caramel is one of our newest flavors.

There were 60 truffles entered into the competition and among these 60 the Mexican Molé Caramel was deemed the very best. Through a process of elimination, the judges come up with a short list of three contenders from which the Mexican Molé Caramel was eventually selected. We were told that the judges found it very, very difficult to select one winner from the three.

What were those other two contenders? One was our new Mango Mango molded truffle and the other was our Orange Spice Caramel molded truffle which was judged to be the Best Traditional Truffle at the 2010 Winter Park Chocolate Festival.

Our Lavender molded truffles won the Best Truffles award at the Say It With Chocolate 2011.

Our Lavender molded truffles also won the Best Truffles award last year at Say It With Chocolate 2010.

Our Chocolate Caramel Fleur de Sel chocolate won the Best Traditional Truffle award at the 2010 Holiday Chocolate Festival at the Broadmoor.

This is one of Robin’s favorite molded truffles and was the second flavor she developed for her original 4-piece collection. The other flavors in that collection are the Raspberry Heart, the Orange Spice Caramel, and the Honey Cinnamon. As you can see below, the Raspberry Heart and the Orange Spice Caramel have also won awards.

Our Pomegranate molded truffle won the Best Traditional Truffle award at the 2010 Holiday Chocolate Festival at the Broadmoor.

The Raspberry Heart was the very first molded truffle that Robin developed when she first went into business.

The Orange Spice Caramel molded chocolate was the third truffle that Robin developed.

Our Lemon Soufflé molded truffle won the Best of Show Truffle award at the 2010 Colorado Chocolate Festival.

This is Robin’s newest flavor and it is a nice addition just in time for the summer.
